Products & Materials
What's the difference between ceramic and porcelain tiles?
Porcelain tiles are denser, less porous, and more durable than ceramic tiles. They're fired at higher temperatures, making them more resistant to moisture and staining. Ceramic tiles are generally more affordable and easier to cut and install. Both are excellent choices, but porcelain is typically better for high-traffic areas and outdoor applications.
Are your wood-effect tiles realistic?
Yes, our wood-effect tiles use advanced digital printing technology to recreate the look of natural wood with remarkable accuracy. They feature realistic grain patterns, textures, and color variations that make them virtually indistinguishable from real wood, while offering the durability and maintenance benefits of tile.
How do I know how many tiles I need for my project?
To calculate the number of tiles needed, measure the area to be tiled in square feet or square meters. Add 10-15% extra for cuts, breakage, and future repairs. Our staff can help you with these calculations during your showroom visit or consultation.
Do you offer samples of your tiles?
Yes, we offer samples of most of our tile collections. You can request samples through our website, by phone, or during a showroom visit. There may be a small fee for some samples, which is typically refundable with a purchase.
Installation & Maintenance
Do you provide installation services?
While we don't directly provide installation services, we have a network of trusted professional installers we can recommend. These installers are experienced with our products and can ensure proper installation for optimal results and warranty coverage.
How should I clean and maintain my tiles?
For regular cleaning, use warm water and a mild detergent with a soft mop or cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners, steel wool, or scouring pads that can scratch the surface. For specific tile types, we provide detailed care instructions with your purchase, and our customer service team is always available to answer maintenance questions.
Can floor tiles be installed on walls?
In most cases, floor tiles can be installed on walls, but not all wall tiles are suitable for floors. Floor tiles are designed to withstand foot traffic and are typically thicker and more durable. When installing floor tiles on walls, ensure the wall can support the weight and that appropriate adhesives are used.
How long does tile installation typically take?
The duration of a tile installation depends on the size of the area, complexity of the design, and type of tile. A standard bathroom might take 2-3 days, while a large open-plan living area could take a week or more. Your installer should provide a timeline specific to your project.
Orders & Shipping
What is your return policy?
We accept returns of unused, unopened boxes of tile within 30 days of purchase with the original receipt. Custom orders, clearance items, and opened boxes are generally non-returnable. A restocking fee may apply. Please contact our customer service team for specific details regarding your order.
How are your products shipped?
Our products are carefully packaged and shipped via trusted freight carriers. Smaller orders may be delivered through standard courier services. Tiles are packed in sturdy boxes and palletized for larger orders to ensure they arrive in perfect condition.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship to select international destinations. International shipping costs, duties, and taxes vary by location. Please contact our sales team for a shipping quote and delivery timeline for your specific location.
What if my order arrives damaged?
If your order arrives with any damage, please document the damage with photos and contact our customer service team within 48 hours of delivery. We'll work with you to resolve the issue promptly, either by replacing the damaged items or providing appropriate compensation.
Design & Consultation
Do you offer design consultation services?
Yes, we offer complimentary design consultations at our showrooms. Our design experts can help you select the perfect tiles for your project, create custom layouts, and coordinate with other elements in your space. For larger projects, we also offer more comprehensive design services for a fee.
Can you help me match existing tiles in my home?
We can try to help you find a close match to your existing tiles, though exact matches may not always be possible, especially for older installations. Bringing a sample of your existing tile to our showroom or sending us clear photos can help us find the best possible match.
What's the best tile size for a small bathroom?
For small bathrooms, medium-sized tiles (12"x12" or 12"x24") often work well, creating fewer grout lines than smaller tiles while not overwhelming the space like larger formats might. However, larger tiles can sometimes make a small space feel bigger. Our design consultants can help you choose the best size for your specific bathroom layout.
How do I choose the right grout color?
Grout color choice depends on your design goals. Matching grout to your tile creates a seamless look, while contrasting grout highlights the tile pattern. For floors and high-traffic areas, darker grouts show less dirt and staining. Our showroom displays feature various grout options to help you visualize different combinations.
